It was only recently that I learned about the hype around Dubai chocolate from a few months ago. Apparently, the local treat went viral on TikTok, and many people were interested in trying it. I even saw some airport shops in Southeast Asia selling it.

In recent years, the Middle East appears to have made strides in getting global attention – not just online – but its startup space also seems to be gaining traction now.

We don’t often get companies from the region on our list, but now should be a good first step with one appearance. Not only that, but it’s also the startup with the second-highest amount of funding on this week’s lineup – a promising sign, to say the least.
