Indonesian coffee chain Fore Coffee is set to launch its own donut business on September 4.

Called Fore Donut, the brand will offer naturally fermented pastries – among the first of its kind in the country.

Fore Donut was announced in an Instagram post dated August 7. On August 21, the brand released another update, kicking off a countdown with the message “14 days to go” ahead of its official launch.

Details on pricing and flavor options, however, remain under wraps.

The donut business was first teased on March 21, during a press conference where Fore shared its ambitions to expand into the F&B industry via its subsidiary, PT Cipta Favorit Indonesia (CFI).

Fore director Mohammad Fahmi Rachmattulah said CFI, which would focus on donut products, would be launched in the third quarter of the year.

CEO Vico Lomar added that CFI would “start on a small scale” so it could “observe the market potential before expanding bigger.”

In 2021, Fore also launched the Fore Deli brand, which offers a selection of food items like sandwiches and cakes.

The company’s competitor, Kopi Kenangan, has expanded beyond coffee, too, by launching its bread brand Cerita Roti in 2020.

Founded in 2018, Fore now has over 200 outlets in more than 40 cities in Indonesia, as well as another outlet in Singapore. It counts East Ventures as one of its key investors.

In April 2025, Fore’s IPO drew over 114 retail investors and was oversubscribed by over 200x. It issued around 1.9 billion new shares, which comprised 21.1% of its total issued and fully paid-up capital.

As of this writing, Fore’s stock has gone up by 116% since it started trading on April 14.
