FLY ASIA Awards 2026 is now open for applications from international startups.
SOUTH KOREA – 24 July 2026 – Busan is opening its doors to the world’s most promising startups, as
FLY ASIA Awards 2026 officially calls for applications from international companies with global ambitions.
FLY ASIA, the Asia Startup Expo, is an annual startup festival held in Busan, South Korea, bringing together around 10,000 domestic and international startups, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders through programs including IR sessions, conferences, networking, and exhibitions.
As part of FLY ASIA 2026, the FLY ASIA Awards is now accepting applications from startups worldwide with strong plans for international expansion.
Who Can Apply
- Startups established within the past seven years — or up to ten years for those in new industry and deep-tech sectors — are eligible to apply, provided they demonstrate strong potential for international market expansion.
- Applicants must be able to deliver an IR pitch and present a professionally prepared IR deck in English.
- Applications are open from July 1 to July 31, 2026 (18:00 KST).
Benefits for Finalists
Approximately 25 startups will advance to the online IR pitching round with global venture capital firms and accelerators.
Finalists advancing to the final round in Busan will receive round-trip economy-class airfare for one representative, two nights of accommodation, 1:1 meetings with international investors, access to FLY ASIA 2026’s official networking events, and a Certificate of Finalist.
Prizes
Award winners will share a total prize pool of KRW 100 million.
- 1st Prize: KRW 50 million
- 2nd Prize: KRW 30 million
- 3rd Prize: KRW 20 million
Prize amounts may be amended based on the number of applications received and the evaluation results.
All prize money is subject to applicable withholding taxes under the tax laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea and will be paid net of such deductions.
Final Round
The final round will be held on October 7–8, 2026 at BEXCO Exhibition Center, Busan, alongside FLY ASIA 2026, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by Busan Startup Investment Agency.
