We are Carter Kennedy and Farhan Masood, the Co-Founders of Soloinsight Inc, a company that Farhan started in 2006 from his bedroom in Lahore and since then, we have come a long way. Soloinsight is headquartered in Chicago, USA and maintains its offices in Shenzhen, China and Lahore, Pakistan. A team of around 68 people serve over 100 customers, including Pepsi Co., Lays, IKEA, McDonald’s and Nestlé, and our system is used millions of times across 154 locations each day.

CloudGate (product of Soloinsight) is a Biometric Compliance Enforcement Platform that plugs into Enterprise tools like SAP, Workday, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and ADP. It is designed to cater large workforces and is offered under the SaaS Model. Which results into millions of dollars of annual payroll and litigation savings for our customers as well as enforces safety, security and accountability.

• He founded Airtight Compliance, a cloud based compliance software platform for hedge funds.

• Farhan is a single parent of an 11 year old princess.
• He dropped out of FC College, Lahore
• At the age of 19, Voice of America announced him as the originator of Urdu Arabic & Persian languages on the Internet.
• He served as the youngest advisor to Minister of Interior and Minister of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan at the age of 21
• He worked for the Sheikh of Dubai on $196M project.
• He started SoloInsight after being inspired by Minority Report, the Tom Cruise flick
• He invested all of his earnings in a credit card manufacturing facility and lost it all.
• He bootstrapped Soloinsight with zero investment for 10 years
• When his old car was stolen, he thought that he may never be able to afford a car again in his life.
• He had to think about closing his company numerous times, but he never gave up.
• When in 2012, he was refused Business Visa to enter USA, he participated and won MIT BAP 2012 competition only so he can get business visa to USA and pursue his american dream.
• He was awarded Global Innovation through Science and Technology Award by the US Vice President, Joe Biden.
• Farhan won 38 international awards and recognitions in total
• He was declared Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 by OPEN
• He is now an honorary alumni of MIT
• Along with Carter, he raised $3M seed capital and expanded the company to USA and China
