Happy birthday Facebook!
Facebook changed its page’s display picture (right) to celebrate its 7th birthday, followed by a status update which reads, “To the 1.5 million of you who share our birthday today – Happy Birthday!”
Facebook has come a long way. 7 years and over 600 million users. Wow. It has not only gained users in the Western countries but also in Asia. Even in China, growth has somehow doubled in the last 4 weeks. Perhaps, China is the best present that Facebook could ever wish for.
Hopefully by Facebook’s 8th birthday, the social network can proudly declare that it has connected China with the rest of the world.
