In brief: JDâs billionaire CEO investigated over alleged sexual misconduct in US
Via The Washington Post:
Chinese billionaire and tech company executive Liu Qiangdong was arrested Friday night in Minneapolis on suspicion of sexual assault and later released as an investigation continues, authorities said.
The Minneapolis Police Department has not yet determined whether it will bring charges, spokesman John Elder told The Washington Post on Sunday.
JD said that Liu was falsely accused while on a business trip in the US and that a police investigation had found no misconduct, though this has yet to be confirmed by the Minneapolis Police Department.
