Everyone has a Facebook agony aunt; SocialKit tells you who it is


Like real life, every friend on Facebook plays a different role. There’s the Talkative One, the Quiet Admirer, the Agony Aunt, the Winger, and of course, the Partner (Facebook doesn’t allow for Partners, sorry).

SocialKit, a web app from the folks at GoodStuph, a Singapore-based “badass” social media marketing company, finds out who these people are on your social media social life, and more.

It extracts data from Facebook, and presents an attractive visual profile of your online shenanigans. Think of it as a social life resume. I can find out such esoteric things like the median age of my friends, the breakdown of my Facebook activity, and when I’m most active (and least) on Facebook.

But how accurate is it? For the most part, SocialKit is more or less there. I can’t help but notice a discrepancy in the number of friends and subscribers Facebook displays versus the figures SocialKit uses though.
