Hey founders,
We know how tough it has been for most of you lately, especially if it’s your first startup or your business is in its early stages.
Along with the good people at Iterative, we’re organizing a founders supporting founders get-together so you can stay connected with the community. It’s happening on Friday, June 25, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. SGT.
This is for you if you:
- Feel cooped up and want to go out and network with like-minded founders (hey, you’re not alone!)
- Have questions about building products or running a startup (e.g., minimum viable product, product-market fit, growth, recruiting, and fundraising)
About Iterative
Hsu Ken and Brian have put up and sold companies in the U.S. Similar to Tech in Asia’s story, they established Iterative because they believe this community has many relentless founders who can breakthrough, bring economic value, and do good in the world. If you’re building something or thinking about it, then come and join this networking session or even apply to Iterative here.
You’ll be having conversations with Iterative partners and fellow founders at this virtual session, so expect to have some good but chaotic fun. We’ll be using Gather Town for the networking (see image above).
Rules of engagement
To minimize chaos and maximize fun, let’s follow some simple guidelines:
- Switch on your web camera. Seeing your face is a crucial part of networking!
- Move your avatar around so you can have spontaneous conversations with those around you.
- Depending on how many people are nearby, you’ll be having one-on-one chats or talking in small groups.
- All umbrellas are for private, one-on-one conversations. No one can listen in or disrupt you when you are seated under one.
- If you get out of the umbrellas and move to the dining tables, for example, then the conversations are free for all.
- Anyone can chime in during conversations – just be polite about it to avoid causing offense.
Other details
- The audience is limited to 50 people. Priority will be given to founders of pre-launch and early-stage startups.
- Participants will receive an email with an access link two days before the event. If you weren’t accepted, we will let you know, too.
- The first five minutes of the gathering are for welcome remarks and housekeeping reminders. The rest of the session is for networking.
See you! 👊
