EGTV Hearthstone League Season 1 comes to a close in Singapore on April 12

Epic Gaming TV’s online Hearthstone league of Southeast Asia is coming to an end. The first region-wide Hearthstone tournament to be held thus far, the 64-man contest, which began on February 12, 2014, has come down to just seven matches—and a $455 grand prize.

The offline grand finals will be held at the Alienware Arena in Singapore, Dell’s bastion of all things gaming for the local community, on April 12, 2014. It will run from 11:00 A.M. till late. The games will still be streamed, but Singapore-based spectators should still pay the event a visit because Razer is a prize sponsor!

On-site participants can vote for the player they think will win, and take part in a special side tournament; both mini events plus occasional trivia sessions will net a lucky few limited edition Epic Gaming TV tshirts, Razer mice, and Razer keyboards as well as MOL points.

For those of you Hearthstone fans and players who missed out on this tournament, co-founder of Epic Gaming TV and organizer Jayf Soh says that “eHL Season 2 will be way bigger and better,” and that the team is waiting for observer mode to get implemented before they announce anything officially.

Soh also added that the proposed season two of the tournament will see SEA players compete against opponents from North America and Europe on a “level platform.”
