VIETNAM – 21 July 2026 – Recently, Grab officially announced a strategic investment in EBOOST, marking a significant milestone in EBOOST’s growth and reinforcing its commitment to expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across Vietnam.

Through this investment, EBOOST has become one of the EV charging platforms and infrastructure companies focused on Vietnam to receive direct investment from Grab. This milestone reinforces EBOOST’s position as a pioneer in Vietnam’s EV charging industry while highlighting the strong confidence in the country’s rapidly growing electric mobility ecosystem.

From Partnership Agreement to Strategic Investment

Grab’s strategic investment marks a significant milestone in the partnership between Grab and EBOOST, building on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in November 2025.

At the start of the partnership, EBOOST had already established one of Vietnam’s leading EV charging networks, operating more than 2,500 charging points and serving over 10,000 EV users nationwide. The initial collaboration focused on enabling Grab’s driver-partners to conveniently access EBOOST’s charging network, helping reduce operating costs while accelerating the transition to electric mobility.

With Grab’s strategic investment, EBOOST will further strengthen its financial capacity to accelerate the expansion of its charging network across Vietnam. Under this long-term collaboration, EBOOST will continue to play a driving force in developing Vietnam’s public charging infrastructure and supporting the country’s transition to sustainable transportation.

Proven Impact Through Technology Integration

One of the key drivers behind this strategic investment is the tangible value created through the integration of EBOOST’s charging platform with Grab’s ecosystem. Since April 2026, EBOOST’s charging network has been directly integrated into the EV Charging feature within the Grab Driver app.

The integration enables Grab-Car driver-partners to locate nearby charging stations, initiate charging sessions, and complete payments seamlessly within a single platform. To date, hundreds of charging points have been successfully integrated into the system.

The partnership has already demonstrated strong early results. More than 70% of driver partners continue using the service within the first seven days, reflecting high user engagement and recurring charging demand. For EBOOST, this integration strengthens charger utilization and recurring revenue, while providing a scalable foundation for the continued expansion of Vietnam’s EV charging infrastructure.

As the next phase of the partnership, Grab and EBOOST are progressing the integration of thousands of charging points for electric motorbike driver-partners, extending the same seamless charging experience currently enjoyed by electric car drivers.

Strengthening Vietnam’s Green Mobility Ecosystem

Grab’s strategic investment further validates EBOOST’s ability to deliver a flexible, secure, and scalable EV charging ecosystem. Powered by a proprietary software platform, EBOOST’s infrastructure is designed to support both electric 4-wheelers (e.g. Cars, Trucks, Buses) and electric 2-wheelers (e.g. Motorbikes), enabling seamless expansion across multiple vehicle segments and use cases.

The partnership creates meaningful strategic value for both companies. For Grab, it supports the company’s ambition to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility by providing its driver partners with convenient, cost-competitive access to EV charging. For EBOOST, the partnership provides access to a large and growing user base, strengthens charger utilization, and further reinforces its position as one of Vietnam’s leading EV charging platform providers.
