BlinQ claims that it’s in “a rapid phase of expansion and having the right people in place will [help the company] in scaling its business,” said founder and CEO Bob Chua.
The startup’s key hires include Christopher Wong, a former executive at Nasdaq-listed e-payments firm MOL Global, as its CFO. Lai Sian Peh, who was previously with consultancy firm Accenture, was appointed as BlinQ’s head of people.
Founded in January, BlinQ uses augmented reality technology to allow users to virtually try on designer apparel and accessories before purchasing items from ecommerce platforms.
