UPDATE: Colosseum has come back with tentative pricing. The blind boxes will go for S$25 each and the Nature’s Prophet Plush is about S$55. They will confirm the actual prices once stocks arrive.
Goodbye, Valve store! You’re not needed in Singapore any more!
The Colosseum cyber cafe and Qisahn.com in Singapore have begun selling the coveted Dota 2 microplush blind boxes previously only available at the Secret Shop at The International 3 (TI3).
According to the Dota 2 Wiki, the Dota 2 microplush blind box has been out of stock since then, but was slated to make a reappearance this month. A photo posted by Qisahn.com also shows a poster claiming the Dota 2 microplushes were supposed to be available in the Southeast Asian region last month.
The microplushes are here at last, albeit currently in a non-permanent state. Qisahn.com just sold an entire set of 21 for S$480 (about $384), with promises to bring in more and to sell them in smaller quantities.
Colosseum, on the other hand, have opened up a pre-order for individual blind boxes and for the Nature’s Prophet Plush, which is presently sold out on the Valve store. However prices for the items have not been stated, and the order hotline was engaged when we tried to call.
Still, this is a small step forward for Dota 2 fans, and given the reputations of Qisahn.com and Colosseum (Colosseum had their own mini secret shop during TI3), we’ve no doubt that they’ll restock and sort things out soon.
