INDONESIA – 9 August 2024 – – Sinar Mas Land through Digital Hub, in collaboration with Living Lab Ventures (LLV), will hold the DNA Digifest titled “Celebrate Your Entrepreneurial Journey”. This event will feature a series of activities, starting from inspiring workshops, panel discussions, training, and networking sessions to support the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and promising startups in Indonesia.

The event, supported by Tech in Asia, is scheduled for August 7, 2024, in BSD City. It aims to equip MSMEs with the essential skills and knowledge needed to drive business growth and development.
This event targets participants from:
● MSMEs from the fashion, food and beverage, services, beauty, electronics, and various other sectors.
● Individuals looking to start a business.

DNA Digifest Engaging Sessions

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in diverse panel discussions, training programs, and networking events such as:
● Elevate: Sharpen Your Entrepreneurial Edge, A series of panel discussions and inspiring workshops featuring successful MSME entrepreneurs. Attendees will gain valuable insights into business strategies, overcoming challenges, and identifying new opportunities in the Indonesian market.
● Empower: Equip Yourself for Growth, Exclusive training sessions led by industry experts. Participants will learn practical skills they can implement in their businesses, including the adoption of new technologies, marketing, research, and performance analysis.
● Evolve: Foster Collaboration & Growth, A dedicated networking session, collaborative workshops, SME Expo exhibition, and consultations with investors and industry experts.

Several prominent speakers will share insights and inspiring stories during the event, including:
● Edward Tirtanata, Founder of Kopi Kenangan, and Hirman Rivano, Founder of BIENSI, who will discuss their success journeys in the session titled “From Humble Beginnings to Soaring Success: The DNA of an Indonesian SME”.
● Rizky Arief Dwi Prakoso, CEO of HMNS Perfume, and Stephanie Susilo, Senior Director of E-Commerce at TikTok Shop, who will talk about successful e-commerce strategies in “Thriving in the Indonesian Marketplace: Key Trends and Opportunities for SMEs”.

Empowering MSMEs

Research conducted by the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF) titled The Role of Digital Platforms in the Development of MSMEs in Indonesia, using secondary and primary data (surveys), states that nearly two-thirds of MSME players are familiar with using e-commerce platforms for sales. This finding indicates the crucial role of technology in the development of MSME businesses.

The report additionally demonstrates that the digitalization of MSMEs influences job creation and annual revenue growth. Approximately 66.28% of surveyed MSMEs reported an average annual revenue increase of up to 50% by utilizing online platforms.
