Diablo 3 gets a price drop in China

Diablo fans are probably excited for the Reaper of Souls expansion that’s coming this spring — check out our impressions of that game here — but if you still haven’t checked out the original game and you live in China, you can now do so at a discount.

Blizzard has announced that Diablo 3, which originally cost 308 RMB ($50) in China, will now cost just 180 RMB ($29). The price drop brings Diablo 3’s price in China down below its price in Blizzard’s native United States, where the game still costs $40.

Chinese gamers who really want to sink some time into Diablo can also purchase a package deal, though, that will allow them to grab Diablo 3 and the Reaper of Souls expansion for just 320 RMB ($52).
