MAS-licensed digital platform SDAX opens for business
SDAX, a platform that provides capital market and digital asset exchange services, was launched today. Licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), SDAX offers access to investments focusing on real estate and environmental, social, and governance initiatives.

The launch was preceded by a series B funding round worth S$24 million (US$17.3 million) from investors such as PSA International, Straits Trading Company, and New Horizon Global, according to a statement.
SDAX’s investment offerings, which are open to institutional, accredited, and retail investors, are enabled by primary and secondary market mechanisms regulated by MAS. The platform holds both the capital markets services and recognized market operator licenses.
SDAX’s digital securities are also put through a strict due diligence process before tokenization. Then, the tokens are fractionalized on the platform’s exchange, which lowers the minimum investment amounts needed.
“SDAX is democratizing investment opportunities for a larger pool of investors through purposeful financial innovation, generating wealth based on real assets,” said SDAX chairperson Khoo Boon Hui.
