UPDATE 18-06-2014: Game4u, the retail arm of EA’s India distributor, Milestone has confirmed the delay on their Facebook page.
Those of you looking to get your MMA fix in India will have to wait a bit longer.
EA Sports UFC has been delayed. You can expect the game on the shelves in about two weeks. According to a post on local community Facebook page this is due to customs issues faced by its distributor, Milestone.
Delays due to customs issues are highly unusual given that recent games such as Watch Dogs and Murdered: Soul Suspect released on time.
However another EA title, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for the PS3 and Xbox 360, ended up in India a month late.
If you can’t wait, the game is available digitally via PSN for INR 3999 (approx. $66) and, oddly enough, unlocks in two days.
