The second batch, which focuses on women-led startups, consists of 10 participating firms that were selected out of 86 applicants.

Gojek Xcelerate is set to run in four batches, with the first batch consisting of machine learning businesses.

The accelerator will put the selected startups through pre-arranged programs aimed at polishing their capabilities. These include a mentoring session, demo day and pitch night, networking sessions, and a bootcamp, Gojek vice president of public affairs Siti Astrid Kusumawardhani said in a statement.

The bootcamp was held from October 28 to 31, after which the startups will be required to attend a demo day event on November 1 at the Gojek headquarters in South Jakarta.

A final demo day will be organized on March 2020, where the startups from each batch will have the opportunity to pitch their business plans and secure funding. The best participating startups could also potentially join the Gojek platform, said Kusumawardhani.

The 10 startups selected in the second batch are as follows:

  1. 1Export (Philippines)
  2. Elavait (China/Hong Kong)
  3. Event Banana (Thailand)
  4. Jio Vio Healthcare (India)
  5. Kobe (Singapore)
  6. Love and Flair (Indonesia)
  7. Paynamics (Philippines)
  8. Pixylz Creative Private Limited (India)
  9. Populix (Indonesia)
  10. PurelyB (Malaysia)
