Coinbase Ventures, the investment arm of cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase, has partnered with Buidlers Tribe, an India-based incubator, to launch a cohort for Web3 startups in India.

Select founders will also get an additional US$25,000 in grants along with mentorship support from BeliefDAO, a program from Buidlers Tribe that provides grants worth between US$5,000 and US$25,000 to founders, startups, and developers.
The pitch session will include panelists such as Coinbase Ventures vice president Shan Aggarwal, Coinbase chief product officer Surojit Chatterjee, and Buidlers Tribe co-founders Raghu Mohan and Pareen Lathia.
The cohort comes amid the increasing popularity and adoption of Web3 across segments. Web3 startups saw a record US$17.9 billion in funding last year and has already received over US$3.8 billion in investments this year, according to a Crunchbase report.
