Proud moment for the CloudMile team at Google Cloud Next 2026. Celebrating this milestone together with our leadership team, including Jeremy Heng, Chief Commercial Officer of CloudMile.
SINGAPORE – April 23, 2026 – At Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas this April, the cloud industry’s biggest players gathered to signal where enterprise technology is heading next. For CloudMile, the moment marked something more definitive: a rare achievement that cuts across both geography and technical depth.
The company walked away with four Google Cloud Partner of the Year awards, covering Greater China Region (GCR), Southeast Asia (SEA), and two of the most technically demanding categories in the ecosystem: databases and infrastructure modernization.
Winning one award is notable. Winning four in a single year, across regions and disciplines points to a level of consistency and execution that is difficult to replicate.
The dual regional win is particularly significant given CloudMile’s focused presence across Greater China Region and Southeast Asia. Operating at an award-winning level across both regions – each with fundamentally different regulatory environments, customer expectations, and levels of digital maturity – underscores the strength of its regional delivery model. Greater China Region demands precision within tightly regulated enterprise ecosystems, while Southeast Asia requires navigating fragmented markets, multiple languages, and uneven digital maturity across countries.
CloudMile’s Secret Sauce
Delivering consistently across both regions is not incidental, it reflects a delivery model designed for variability. That consistency is reinforced by CloudMile’s technical wins. Database modernization and infrastructure migration are among the highest-risk engagements in cloud transformation, where failure can be costly both financially and operationally.
Recognition in both categories reflects CloudMile’s ability to support enterprises end to end from infrastructure and data to AI and security, providing a unified approach to transformation. These two areas – database modernisation and infrastructure migration – are foundational requirements for operating infrastructure, data, AI, and security environments at scale.
These capabilities are supported by CloudMile’s regional operating backbone, with its Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Malaysia serving as a key engineering hub for complex deployments across Southeast Asia. Developed in partnership with Google Cloud’s GO-CLOUD Talent Program, the CoE is now in its second year and on track to train more than 300,000 technical professionals across the region, providing enterprises with scalable access to deep engineering expertise without the cost and time required to build in-house teams.
Complimenting this, in markets like the Philippines, the focus has been on translating complex AI and cloud capabilities into tangible business outcomes – bridging the gap between technology and real-world enterprise needs.
From cloud partner to AI engineering firm
Earlier this year, CloudMile also won the Google Cloud Agent Build Challenge in GCR with NewsSpark, its proprietary AI agent platform.
That milestone adds an important layer to how the company positions itself. CloudMile is not simply a cloud reseller with strong delivery metrics, it is building AI-native capabilities on top of the same infrastructure it deploys for clients, blurring the line between implementer and builder.
As enterprises shift from cloud adoption to AI-led transformation, that distinction is becoming more material. The company’s positioning is further reinforced by its public-sector credentials. CloudMile holds dual government AI certifications, including participation in Singapore’s Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI), a program led by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) that engages a select group of partners with proven AI track records to support enterprise adoption alongside hyperscalers, and accreditation from Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs.
In a region where AI governance frameworks are evolving rapidly, these certifications signal not just technical capability, but compliance readiness, particularly for enterprises operating across jurisdictions.
CloudMile now serves more than 1,400 enterprise clients across Asia, spanning Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
Jeremy Heng, Chief Commercial Officer of CloudMile, said the significance of the awards goes beyond recognition:
“Earning four Google Cloud Partner of the Year awards is a testament to our continued focus on putting customers at the centre of our innovation. Our approach combines strategic advisory with precision delivery, enabling enterprises to navigate complex environments with confidence. This recognition reflects our team’s grit to deliver excellence, as well as the trust our customers have placed in us as we’ve grown together over the years.”
As AI adoption shifts from experimentation to execution, enterprises are no longer asking whether to transform, but who can deliver that transformation reliably. CloudMile’s performance at Google Cloud Next 2026 offers one answer: consistency at scale, across one of the most complex regions in the world.
