Cloud Management Startup Nubefy Enters Private Beta

nubefy

Nubefy, as we wrote about a year ago, provides companies with a solution to free themselves from getting locked into any cloud host.

And eight months later after some funding from the Singapore government, Nubefy the cloud management platform is finally now in private beta. That means the product isn’t completed and still has to enter the final stages of development. The public launch will only happen on October 2 and 3, we’ve been told.

We also learned that the startup has been accepted to launch its product at DEMO San Francisco this coming October and is also looking to bridge the gap between the private and public cloud moving forward. True enough, there are other services out there that offer similar solutions to Nubefy. Rightscale, which has a partnership with GREE, for example, is one.

When asked about similar services, Paul Kim, product manager at Nubefy, explained:

Nubefy is about breadth and less so about depth. Rightscale does what they do very well; configuration and automation management is their brain child. But like everything in this world, there are a lot of flavors, and we believe that there are companies that look for a more end-to-end solution than just one powerful focus.

We also differ by offering a wide array of providers that you can deploy your cloud on. We will eventually try to onboard as many providers as we can to offer users the benefits of variety.

If you’re interested to give Nubefy’s private beta test a try, you can go here to sign up. We have also embedded a comprehensive PDF below so you can find out more about Nubefy.
