Google and Baidu Celebrate Chinese New Year with Doodles

‘Ding Dong’, the clock strikes twelve. Today is officially Chinese New Year eve, a day for family reunion dinner and celebrations.

Both search giants Google and Baidu celebrate the year of rabbit with specially designed doodles.

In Singapore, CNY is currently one of the trending topics on Twitter. Without a doubt, China’s micro-blog, Sina Weibo is now buzzing loud with Chinese New Year messages. The hottest topic now is “sending your new year wish through a weibo (tweet) with #微博拜年 (loosely translated as tweet your new year greetings)”.

Also check out how you can win an iPhone or iPad just by searching on Baidu during this festive season. Have a great Chinese New Year eve. 除夕快乐!
