Chinese LOL fans respond to OMG's crushing defeat in the All-Star 2014 finals

Well, another major international League of Legends tournament is in the bag, and it’s another victory for Korea’s SK Telecom T1 K and another 3-0 defeat for China’s representative in the tournament. Last year at Worlds SKT swept Royal Club 3-0; now they’ve done the same to OMG.

So how is the Chinese eSports scene taking the loss? Not super well. And they seem to have picked a scapegoat for the 3-nil sweep: OMG’s jungler Pomelo.

Here are some of the most popular comments from this news post about the finals result, for example:

多玩咸阳网友:

Why did OMG lose the first game? Simply because of the jungler, Pomelo. He’s so garbage. Always playing passively and getting beat up on.

依然丶花落:

OMG’s top, mid, and bot lanes played very well, very godlike. It’s this dumbass jungler Pomelo, get the fuck out of OMG why don’t you? I don’t dare say they’d definitely have won without him, but at least it wouldn’t have turned out like that.

多玩绍兴网友:

I truly do not understand Pomelo’s jungling…

多玩深圳网友:

All I can say is that Pomelo was a class below [everybody else playing].
