Mineski to launch Philippines' first eSports video news report, Mineski eSports News

Philippine eSports fans now have a new way of following news and events in the local scene. Mineski, one of the most prominent eSports organizations in the Philippines, is set to launch Mineski eSports News to keep fans updated with the latest developments, events, and information in the local eSports scene. Here’s the show’s teaser video:

Mineski eSports News is not only a first for Mineski TV, but also a first for Philippine eSports. Although there had been local shows about gaming in the past, this is the first time that the Philippine scene will have an eSports-centered show. According to Mineski TV head Calvin Callangan,

Mineski eSports news aims to deliver the latest in news and scoops in e-sports with video as our medium. Through this, one of our goals is to get the community to be interested with what’s going on in the eSports scene.

According to Callangan, the show will focus mostly on the Philippines to help strengthen the local scene. They are open to the possibility of covering news outside of the country and even outside of SEA, but at the moment, their priority is the Philippine eSports scene.

The first episode will air on February 19. Each episode will be at least 10 to 15 minutes long and will be aired once a month. Callangan also mentioned that they will also have fun and interesting segments in-between their episodes so fans have something more to watch out for than just eSports news.
