Days after Rahul Yadav is sacked, Housing gets hacked

After Ola, Gaana, and Zomato, India’s most talked about startup Housing fell prey to a hacker attack today. The site is up and running now but the brief period it was down was enough to get social media buzzing with speculation over possible links with co-founder Rahul Yadav’s ouster from the company.

“Yes! We will solve real estate but 10X better with The Chief Architect (sic),” the Housing homepage read while it was under attack. The hackers had highlighted #RahulYadav and #HousingDown.

Last week, Softbank-backed Housing’s CEO Rahul Yadav was sacked by investors for “his behavior towards investors, ecosystem, and the media.”

Tweeps immediately put two and two together, and came up with five.
