3. Summon Auntie | Singapore – A very creative and practical iPhone app from Singapore that will come in handy for motorists around town.

4. 16Fun | China – A start-up that game-ifies location-based service (LBS) to the extent that your check-ins become a sort of real-life game of Monopoly.

4. Sold.sg | Singapore – Two ex-bankers created this penny auction e-commerce site one year ago. And now it’s profitable.

6. Lindoc | Japan – E-books combined with social notes are a dream come true for geeky students. And Lindoc is a Japan-based start-up working to meet that vision.

7. PlanHound | India – PlanHound is an Android app that automatically tracks users’ mobile usage and recommends a better mobile price plan based on their usage.

8. VS Look | China – Chinese start-up VS Look is a personal photobook publishing platform that’s aiming to do something a bit old-fashioned with our modern digital photo mementos – print them out.

9. ABCLoop | Japan – A community of English and Japanese learners where members have online conversations that are translated and checked by fellow users.

10. HappyFox | India – HappyFox is a gorgeously-designed customer support web app developed by Tenmiles.
