Say Cheese: Telunjuk.com Compares Cameras and Recommends the Best

Indonesians sure love to take pictures, from their holidays to the food they eat. Because of the need to share, this photo addiction has grown the photography community (including myself) hugely, including the likes of Fotografer.net, to those with the specific passion for LOMO cameras at Lomonesia. And all those folks have very different needs in terms of cameras. Now, here comes the Telunjuk product search engine which today adds a camera option to its site, providing recommendations for its users before they hit “buy” on any online store.

Co-Founder and CMO of Telunjuk, Hanindia Narendrata Rahiesa, tells us why Telunjuk.com added a section for that particular gadget:

There is an increase in the photography community in Indonesia. This creates great public demand for camera products, as well as the growing number of online stores that sell cameras. That’s why Telunjuk.com has launched a search and price comparison in camera products. In addition, to determine what kind of camera you want to buy is not easy because there are a lot of specs to consider.

This new product search service adds new value to Telunjuk’s site, which include similar recommendations for phones, laptops, tablets, and flight tickets. This Indonesian startup’s main goal is to provide effective search and price comparisons so you can save time online in researching to get the products you want.

Camera spec searches are based on details like the brand, optical zoom, minimum ISO, HDMI connectivity, resolution, digital zoom, type of memory, and lenses. You can also decide to pick from a range of prices to find one that suits your budget. You can even search cameras according to local online shops that deliver in your area – but this option is limited to Jakarta and Surabaya for now.

If you’ve really no idea what you want yet, you can see recommended cameras, a review section syndicated from various media, and you can also see related products to broaden your range of options before purchasing.
