PixaRoll Offers Fast Prints of Your iPhone Photos (If You’re in Singapore)

Printed photos have fallen by the wayside a bit now that everyone and their grandmother is walking around with a digital camera in their phone. But can you tape those digital photos onto the wall at your office? Not without printing them out first! For that, there’s PixaRoll.

PixaRoll is a Singapore based startup that just launched an iPhone app and printing service. It’s very simple; you just launch the app, pick the photos you want printed, make your payment, and then wait for the shipment. You can pick multiple photos at a time, and you can even ship to multiple addresses at a time. Prints are reasonably priced, with further discounts offered if you share the service on Facebook or Twitter. Users in Singapore will receive their prints in less than five days. It’s all pretty cool.

That said, there are some serious limitations. Although the company claims to be “Asia’s first mobile photo delivery service,” with delivery only available to Singapore and the US, most Asians simply can’t use the app, at least for now. Similarly, the company currently only offers regular 4″ by 6″ sized prints; so there’s no way to use your iPhone to take some wallet photos or make a nice new poster for yourself. At least not yet. PixaRoll does suggest that may offer additional size options in the future.

It’s a cool service, but I hope that PixaRoll will expand its size options and its shipping range sooner rather than later. In the meantime, feel free to check out the service if you’re in Singapore and let us know how the print quality is!
