Singapore Web3 gaming and NFT discovery platform Playground has concluded its oversubscribed pre-seed funding round, which was co-led by East Ventures and Mirana Ventures.

Other investors in the raise include global crypto fund Arc Capital as well as angel investors.
Playground aims to address the information problem in the Web3 ecosystem. Typically, it’s hard for users to discover new projects in the space, as the rapid growth of the blockchain-enabled entertainment sector has made information fragmented.
To answer this need, the firm’s platform provides up-to-date information, as well as access to Web3 entertainment projects and their communities.
“We believe that all users should have a seamless experience in learning about projects in the space, from factual information to the actual ‘feel’ of a particular game or interactive experience,” said Clinton Teh, Playground founder and CEO. Teh previously led several initiatives in Web3 gaming and NFTs for Binance.
