Singapore-based ecommerce platform Carousell has appointed former PropertyGuru executive Lewis Ng as chief commercial officer.

“There is a significant and growing market for high-value verticals such as cars and property, and we look forward to leveraging Lewis’ experience in these areas that pave way to achieve greater success across Southeast Asia,” Carousell co-founder and CEO Siu Rui Quek said in a statement.
Ng was previously chief business officer of PropertyGuru – a role he held for three years. Prior to that, he served as commercial director for Asia Pacific at US-based hotel review site TripAdvisor.
In his new role at Carousell, he will lead the overall commercial strategy of the company, as well as oversee sales and business development functions.
