Can you handle this much cuteness? Maplestory 2’s first gameplay trailer is out!

Nexon has graced us with this first gameplay trailer for Maplestory 2, and it’s about as cheerful as a pocketful of rainbows.

The game seems to have placed a good amount of emphasis on social aspects, showing a lot of player-to-player interaction. The combat also seems pretty intriguing and unique, with the trailer ending off with a party of players slamming down a giant golem.

Maplestory 2 has reportedly been in development since 2010, and Nexon is planning to release the game in South Korea sometime this year. No word yet has been given on a release anywhere else, but given the success of Maplestory, it’s very likely the rest of the world is going to be getting in on the action too.
