Hong Kong’s Dash Living acquires Singapore co-living firm amid APAC expansion

Hong Kong-based rental solution provider Dash Living has expanded its presence to Singapore through the acquisition of local co-living firm Easycity in a bid to become one of the largest players in Asia Pacific.

Dash Living will have over 900 units across Hong Kong and Singapore with the new addition of 200 units from its Singapore entity, according to a statement. Its Dash Coliving units in the city-state are located in central business districts and nearby areas such as Geylang, Paya Lebar, Farrer Park, Balestier, Pasir Panjang, and Clementi.

The company said that an aggressive expansion in Singapore has been planned under the leadership of Dash Living founder Aaron Lee and ex-Easycity founders Alex Liu and Wesley Wen, who now form the executive management team of Dash Singapore.

In Hong Kong, Dash Living has over 100,000 square feet under its management across locations such as Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Jordan. It also expects to announce newer projects in the foreseeable future, the company said.

Dash Living also noted that Coliving is now its fastest-growing product. It just recently announced the launch of a 51-unit co-living space in Hong Kong in October 2019. In addition to Coliving, Dash Living also operates through Dash Suites, Dash Hotels, and Dashare.

The company, backed by MindWorks Ventures, has US$10 million in funding to date, according to the statement.
