BYD Korea targets 64% EV sales growth to 10,000 units

BYD Korea aims to sell over 10,000 EVs in 2026, up 64% from its 2025 sales, as it expands its model lineup.

In its first year in South Korea, the company sold 6,107 passenger vehicles.

It currently offers three models: the Atto 3 SUV, the Seal sedan, and the Sealion 7 SUV.

The automaker plans to introduce three new models this year, including a rear-wheel-drive Seal, a Dolphin hatchback, and a DM-i PHEV model.

It also aims to grow its retail network to 35 showrooms and 26 after-sales service centers by year-end.
