For small social sellers in Indonesia, managing orders via WhatsApp or Instagram direct messages can be time-consuming and could lead to errors.

Mimin, a Jakarta-based chat commerce enabler, says it’s offering a much better alternative. Mimin automates the entire process, from chatting between buyers and sellers to generating invoices and payment confirmations. According to the startup, its solution also enables sellers to contact previous buyers with personalized and relevant offers.

The company has secured its seed funding round from Otto Digital, which is the fintech arm of Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group.
