Summer may be drawing to a close, but not without some gaming action, as SMM Philippines hosts the first ever SMM Cyberslam this weekend, May 24 to 25, at the Cyberzone of SM City, North Edsa.

SMM Cyberslam will feature an on-site tournament for Warcraft III (WC3) Dota, Starcraft II (SC2), Assault Fire, and Hearthstone. The participants for WC3 Dota and SC2 will be determined via a voting system and will be announced within the week. Voting has already ended, but you can find the WC3 DotA team applicants here and the SC2 player applicants here.
The Assault Fire tournament only has eight slots per day, which will be immediately given to the first eight five-man teams to register. More details for the Assault Fire tournament can be found here.
The Hearthstone tournament will also have on-site registration and will have 32 slots. Each match will be a best of three series while the finals will be a best of five series. Each player can have three decks per match. The loser of every game will change their deck and will not be allowed to use a hero or deck twice in a single match. The winner, on the other hand, will have to use the same deck until he loses.
