1. MyanmarCarsDB | Myanmar

Started in 2012, MyanmarCarsDB is an online platform which connects car buyers and sellers in Myanmar. 45,000 cars have been listed since the launch, and the company has secured seed round of investment in January 2013 and second round of funding from Malaysia’s Frontier Digital Ventures.

2. Reel Messenger | India

Reel Messenger is an instant video messenger that was developed with Indian users in mind. It uses little data, takes up no storage on the mobile device, and can be used on a 2G network.

Users can record a video message of up to 20 seconds in duration using their phone camera, review it, and send it to people in their phone book. The message is not saved on the sender’s side and deletes automatically from the recipient’s inbox immediately after the video has been played.

3. 91App | Taiwan

Developed by Taiwanese startup N Squared, 91App helps online merchants set up mobile storefronts quickly. The service basically offers a set of front-end templates and back-end levers that let vendors manage sales through a mobile app. Merchants can upload product descriptions and pricing, and choose from a number of payment and shipping options to ensure that money and packages each go in the right direction. 91App-powered storefronts are aggregated on a consumer-facing mobile app that lets people discover new products and shops.

4. Ghost Drone | China

Ghost Drone is the flagship quadcopter of Chinese startup Ehang, and was designed as an aerial photography drone outfitted with a GoPro and controlled using a smartphone app. The startups claims that it is the world’s easiest-to-fly personal drone. It recently secured series A funding led by GGV Capital. Angel investors Xu Xiaoping and Nick Yang and early stage fund PreAngel also participated.

5. Sportdio | Indonesia

Launched officially in July 2014, online store Sportdio offers over 2,000 sporting items – including shoes, bags, and fragrances. Inspired by Zappos, the team differentiates itself by offering free shipping in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi – as well as the longest return guarantee offered by an ecommerce store in Indonesia at 100 days.

6. Parking Duck | Thailand

Parking Duck wants to be the Airbnb of parking spaces. Homeowners and anyone with available spaces can put them up for rent, and those who are in need of a parking lot can search for them via an interactive map, and seal the deal with payment made directly on the website. Currently, hosts are not required to pay any fees for listings.
