Blizzard wants to send one lucky SEA fan to Blizzcon

Can you believe it’s been ten years since we first set foot in the expansive World of Warcraft? Azeroth has grown far beyond its humble borders since then, into Outland, Northrend, and even under the raging Maelstrom. It has come a long, long way, as has Blizzard Entertainment, and the developer knows it: it wouldn’t be here without its loyal fans.

So it wants to reward them. Specifically, Blizzard Entertainment wants to reward its Southeast Asian fans. World of Warcraft players from Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia will be pleased to know that Blizzard has launched a full-scale celebratory campaign online, ahead of its upcoming ten-year anniversary. There are going to be tons of contests in which you can win special items from now until Blizzcon.

And the first of these contests is the best of all. Forget the Lil’ Ragnaros pet, the Armored Broodwing, or the Soul of the Aspects pet.

Blizzard wants to send just one lucky winner and a friend from one of the five Southeast Asian countries listed above to Blizzcon 2014. You don’t even have to be a citizen; you just have to live there.

All you have to do is to submit a photo, screenshot, or illustration captioned by your personal story about what has made, or what still makes, World of Warcraft meaningful to you.

We want to hear how WoW has affected or has been part of your life over the decade.

Brb, busy writing our own entries. Good luck, and maybe you might beat ours!
