Mineski has been creating gaming content since 2004, while participating and hosting esports tournaments across the globe. The firm, which began as a college DotA team, has since grown to a 200-member-strong company that provides a software-as-a-service esports marketing offering to generate more opportunities for brands.

The company said that it plans to use the new capital to broaden its gamification technology portfolio, introduce new products, bring in new talent, and expand further across Southeast Asia.

In addition to the Philippines, it also has a presence in Thailand and Indonesia. It has also worked with gaming giants such as gaming and lifestyle major Razer, Riot Games, which is the developer of games like League of Legends and Valorant, as well as mobile gaming titan Tencent.

“With the tremendous growth of esports and gaming, we believe this is the right time to invest in that future,” said Mineski Global chairman and CEO Ronald Robinson Robins.

Without disclosing any further information, Mineski said it has seen “strong growth” over the last few years and expects to double its sales this year.

Meanwhile, industry heavyweight Razer’s recent earnings report also helped highlight the recent surge in gaming, reporting a profit of US$31 million in the first half of 2021.
