BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma, the fifth installment of Arc System Works’ 2D fighting series, BlazBlue, will be getting a PS Vita version aside from the Playstation 3 version that already has a March 25, 2014, release.
According to Aksys Games’, the North American publisher for Chrono Phantasma, the Vita version will be getting everything the PlayStation 3 version has. There will be Vita-exclusive content such as a short summary of previous titles BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift to keep you up to date, a beach story mode where you’ll see certain characters hanging out in the beach in their swimsuits and an enhanced Abyss mode.
The Abyss mode is a console-exclusive feature that puts players in a series of matches against the AI and provides rewards for each successful run. As of this post, there are no further details on how much more “enhanced” the Abyss mode will be.
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma takes place after the events of Continuum Shift . The console version will be getting three DLC-only characters: Kagura Mutsuki, Yuki Terumi and Kokonoe. There is no news yet if the Vita version will also be available at the same date as the PS3 version so stay tuned for further updates!
