Blacklight Retribution launches in Southeast Asia tomorrow, April 10, 2014, with cash point prizes for players
Blacklight Retribution might have been out elsewhere in the world for a while now, but Southeast Asia is getting her own servers under IAH Games.
The futuristic first-person shooter for PC is free-to-play, but doesn’t feel like a freemium game at all. Players take on the roles of super soldiers and can choose from 1,000 different gun combinations that can be used across seven different game modes in nine different maps. A really cool addition is the Hyper Reality Vision of each soldier, which is like instinct mode in Hitman: Absolution, or the Arkham series’ detective mode.
If you’ve been playing Blacklight Retribution for a while, you might wonder why you should switch over to local servers. The answer is simple: an extra boost in the form of cash points. IAH Games will be distributing $5 worth of cash points to every account that hits level ten before 8:00 A.M. on April 14, 2014. These will be usable in the game’s cash shop.
The SEA edition of this futuristic first-person shooter will go live at 11:00 A.M. (GMT +8) tomorrow, April 10, 2014. There is no IP block on the game client, meaning that gamers all over Asia will get to enjoy it.
See you in game! You can keep up with the Blacklight Retribution SEA activities here.
