Beta test for Southeast Asia’s English service Phantasy Star Online II finally has a date

Asiasoft, publisher of Phantasy Star Online II, has announced the dates of the English service Phantasy Star Online II (PSO2) beta test via the game’s newly-created Facebook page.

The PSO2 beta test will run from April 10, Thursday, to April 13, 2014, Sunday. According to the game’s community managers, beta access will require a beta key, and these are currently being given out on the community managers’ respective Facebook pages: Dynareus, Dreki, and Vretiel.

Not excited enough? PSO2 English service servers have not yet gone live in any other part of the world, and the science fiction MMORPG is big enough in Japan that it even has collaborations with hit anime Attack on Titan and with convenience store chain 7-Eleven.

We’re going to help you beg for some so be sure to take part in our beta key giveaway when it goes live! Phantasy Star Online II will be available to players in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
