What music do you listen to when you need to get stuff done?
For me, it's simpler - a team member who takes the initiative to challenge the norm for the betterment of the company. I'm also interested in the types of environment/culture that breeds intrapreneurs. At Tech in Asia, we are encouraged to try new methods/processes and leaders are also willing to listen to and adopt new ideas.

Who are the startup folks I should know / events I should attend in Singapore?
Check out Si Han's reply. Just to clarify, I'm not saying that all hackathons are misguided. Some organisers have the wrong objectives in mind when organising hackathons. They had absolutely no intention to work with the developers. It's about getting their problems solved free of charge. Some were even hesitant to share their data. I guess at the end of the day, it would be great if organisers can think about how they can inspire hackers/developers to take their idea one step further. Give the hackers/developers resources to build on their ideas. That would be ideal. (:
