Tencent’s FPS Assault Fire (逆战) just enjoyed a center-stage role as one of two featured exhibition games at the World Cyber Games finals, and it looks like the game isn’t ready to surrender the spotlight just yet. Yesterday, Tencent released a trailer for a new version of the game’s zombie mode, which delves deeper into the story and expands things considerably. And the best part? The trailer is narrated by a zombie. (The other best part is that it’s subtitled in English; although the translation is far from perfect, you’ll get the basic idea).
Now tell me you didn’t enjoy that! As you can see, the new version of zombie mode will enter open beta on December 12, which is next Thursday. Sounds like Christmas is coming early for Chinese FPS fans, or at least for Chinese zombie fans.
