1. DeNova Sciences | Singapore (Startup Profile)

DeNova Sciences wants to eliminate animal testing in the cosmetics industry by creating in-vitro human skin, or artificial human skin suitable for rigorous clinical testing. To date, the startup has successfully developed five skin models: pigmented skin, dry skin, normal skin, cancerous skin, and fatty skin.


2. Carsome | Malaysia (Startup Profile)

Launched in 2015, Carsome established a C2B platform that allows car owners to sell their vehicles to dealers online, with the possibility of getting the whole process completed within one day. It also has its own team of vehicle inspectors that appraise second-hand cars before they are advertised on its platform.


3. RedDoorz | Singapore (Startup Profile)

RedDoorz buys an inventory of rooms from budget hotels and spruce them up to provide a standardized service in terms of cleanliness, bed quality, and things like wifi. Users can then book these rooms online. It has accumulated rooms in 500 properties and serviced over 700,000 stayed nights in Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
