League of Legends is the most popular game in Korea. And like pretty much everywhere else, Korean gamers say some funny things, especially if they don’t know you can understand them. For my own amusement, I sometimes pretend that I can’t speak Korean, to see what Korean gamers think about “foreign” players on their server. The results can be quite funny.
In the conversations below, anything in brackets was typed in Korean, and anything in italics is my own notation.

Quinn: [Go away you dirty foreigners]
Me: I don’t wanna go botlane. This quinn is so bad mannered.
Quinn: [What the fuck are you barking? Speak Korean you filthy Chinese.]
Nidalee: Okay. Come.
Me: LOL. Jaemin.. Really? Nidalee’s real name is Jaemin
Nidalee: Yes. No problem. Come!
Me: Won’t Quinn get mad?
Quinn: [What are you saying about me?]
Lee Sin: [I can speak english a little. Want me to translate that for you?]
Quinn: [O O] This means yes, yes.
Lee Sin: [They said]
Literally fifty seconds pass and I go to mid lane to support my friend.
