Hearthstone SEA weekend roundup: SEA vs. CN, SEA Major 2014, and more

It has been a busy weekend for Hearthstone players and fans alike! If you missed out on the on-stream action, here’s your chance to catch up with what went on.

The Southeast Asia (SEA) vs. China face-off ended with China leading SEA three to one. The only SEA win came courtesy of player “adyb” from Singapore, who took three games over China’s iGXingSu’s two.

The next three matches between WaningMoon and 小圆, geecee0 and 冰蓝飞狐, and schizo300 and Big3-旋律 all ended with three games to one in favor of the Chinese players. All winning players took home approximately $1,600 each.

Over in Singapore, an offline Hearthstone 3v3 tournament ran as a part of South East Asia Major 2014. Team Blank, consisting of players Silentstorm, Emiya, and Gremory, took first place, while teams Greetings and Scarf finished up second and third place respectively. The prizes were all cuts from the final pot, though all registered players had a chance to take home Razer peripherals as a part of an on-ground giveaway.

Yet another regional Hearthstone tournament is rounding up next week at the Campus Game Fest 2014 in Singapore. The 1v1 Battlestone tournament will come to close over June 27 and 28, with the last day of Campus Game Fest, June 29, featuring an offline 3v3 team tournament.
