- Apple is moving the manufacturing of its new Mac Pro computer to China from the US, the Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
- The development comes as Apple, along with other manufacturers, was pressured to make their products in the US if they want to avoid tariffs.
- An Apple spokesman said the new Mac Pro is designed and engineered in the US and includes components made in the country. “Final assembly is only one part of the manufacturing process.”
