If it’s not Cupid’s arrow hitting you this Valentine’s Day, it’s likely to be one of those infamous Angry Birds! As previously reported here on PO, Rovio has already launched Angry Birds to over 800 million Facebook users around the world on this special day. Complete with leader boards to compare scores with friends and power-up items, it looks set to take the social platform by storm.

As Rovio’s CEO Peter Vesterbacka has previously said, the company aims to be an ‘entertainment franchise’ and has been keenly expanding into different areas, including merchandising (who can forget those adorable plush toys), animation (acquiring the animation studio Kombo) and even creating comics. Rovio is also producing localized content, such as the recent special edition in celebration of the Chinese Year of the Dragon.

For its Japanese readers, Rovio has put together a humorous little comic for Valentine’s Day. Will the Pigs and Birds call for a truce on this special day? Our Japanese readers can find out below!

Rovio previously said that Japanese users can look forward to a localized version of the Angry Birds Seasons series in the near future. For the time being, you can enjoy the game on Facebook.
