From sex to parody, there are many different ways to market a beer. Being a “sociable product” in nature, these ads tend to be humorous, bringing smiles at the end of the spot; a similar experience we get after having a nice drinking session with our buddies.
Our favorite pick for this list would be Guinness’s spot, whereby the message “good things come to those who wait” was communicated perfectly.
It is unique compared to the rest, as it doesn’t blatantly use sex or humor to capture attention. Instead, logic and a magical spark of thought are employed to enhance Guinness’s premium brand image.
Catch all of them and let us know your favorite via comments.
10. Carlton Draught
“It’s a big ad and it better sell some beer.” That’s what the ad says. No nonsense, straight to the point with a tint of humor.
9. Troegs
Sex appeal with a fart? Well, it seems to work pretty well with over 2.5 million views so far.
8. Pure Blonde
White, pure and serene landscape only to be disrupted by the beer delivery man.
7. Guinness
Guinness launched this £10m campaign TV ad in its 80-year marketing history, with a highly unusual domino rally.
