The first professional Hearthstone player from Asia chosen for this year’s Intel Extreme Masters is Chinese player Amaz, the runner-up of Dreamhack Summer 2014! He is globally renowned for his amazing skill and proficiency at Priest class and he is one of the few professionals to use it in competitive play. He is also well known for his ability to get insane draws from Thoughtsteals and ability to always snipe the right targets with Ragnaros, the Firelord. Some say he made a secret deal with Ragnaros so that he would always work in his Amaz’s favor.

The second big name coming to the tournament from Asia is TSM’s most recent acquisition: Korea’s Massan. He runs one of the most popular Hearthstone streams (alongside Amaz), which ranges from 10 to even 25 thousand viewers. Massan is globally known for his great understanding of the meta-game and his ability to always use it to his advantage. He is an outstanding Druid player, able to play all of its three versions at the highest level of competition.

The other three players invited to IEM Shenzhen are Cloud 9’s Gnimsh and Strifecro, along with Dreamhack Summer 2014 Champion: MYM’s RDU, who is renowned for his original decks, especially his variation of the Freeze Mage.

The tournament will begin on July 16 and will be broadcasted live on IEM’s official site, so be sure to not miss it!
