DANA meluncurkan AI Enablement Playbook, panduan praktis bagi pelaku industri untuk menilai dan meningkatkan kesiapan mereka dalam mengadopsi kecerdasan buatan (AI)
INDONESIA – 8 December 2025 – DANA launches the AI Enablement Playbook, a practical guide for industry players to assess and improve their readiness to adopt artificial intelligence (AI). This guide summarizes insights, metrics, and principles for implementing AI that is safe, inclusive, and scalable. Its development stems from cross-sector discussions between the government, industry players, and AI experts in the AI@Work Lab forum. Equipped with an AI Enablement Checklist, this guide is also DANA’s tangible contribution to supporting the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap (AI Roadmap), initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) to encourage the application of AI in Indonesia. In the creation of the Roadmap, DANA also played an active role as part of the Task Force on Policy.
Vince Iswara, CEO & Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia, emphasizes the importance of a clear framework in the use of AI. “AI technology can open up broad access. While global industry players are racing to utilize AI, many organizations still lack a focused and measurable framework. The AI Enablement Playbook can serve as a guideline for the industry to ensure that AI implementation remains safe, inclusive, and has a real impact. With cross-sector collaboration and readiness, technological advances such as AI can benefit society and even the Indonesian economy.”
To ensure the successful implementation of AI, these guidelines provide strategic recommendations for governments, enterprises, and startups. One of these recommendations is to prioritize the 3P framework, which focuses on People (empowering talent through literacy, mindset, and skills), Platform (data infrastructure), and Policy (policies, structures, and collaboration). This framework is aligned with the main focus of the National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap, namely talent development, infrastructure and data development, ethics and policy, as well as industrial research and innovation.
Industry players can also ensure their readiness through the AI Enablement Checklist, which covers clarity of business objectives, data and infrastructure readiness, and the availability of secure and standardized AI tools, to prevent BYOAI (Bring Your Own AI) practices that risk compromising the security of company and consumer data.
Later, the assessment results can be classified into three levels of readiness: Curious, Committed, and Confident, which provide a clear picture of their position in the AI transformation journey. This can be a reference for companies in taking the next steps to determine priorities, fill gaps, and build AI implementations to suit their needs, creating a positive impact for users and supporting the sustainability of the company’s business.
Through AI@Work Lab, AI Enablement Playbook, and AI Enablement Checklist, DANA affirms its role in building Indonesia’s AI ecosystem through cross-sector dialogue, sharing best practices, and encouraging collaboration that accelerates national AI adoption.
“With effort, support, and collaboration from all sectors, Indonesia will not only be able to utilize AI to realize Indonesia Emas, but also has the potential to become a regional leader in the adoption of safe, inclusive AI,” concluded Vince.
In collaboration with Tech in Asia and supported by Alibaba Cloud, AI@Work Lab was held by DANA in Jakarta on October 21, 2025. This forum featured in-depth discussions on the responsible use of AI to generate real impact and strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global digital economy. This closed-door discussion forum was attended by stakeholders from various sectors and industries, including the Ministry of 1Communication and Digital (Komdigi), Singapore Economic Development Board, Kata.ai, Tiket.com, Microsoft, Google Cloud, and many more.
